The $99 covers an emergency exam, consultation and panoramic X-ray. Fees may be adjusted due to complications or unforeseen circumstances. Treatment is priced separately and quoted to you in writing before any work starts.

An emergency dental office on Belmont, open since 2025
Emergency Dentists in Chicago opened in 2025 to do something simple: see people with a dental emergency on the day they call, early in the morning, on the Northwest Side. We're on the north side of Belmont between Central and Austin, in a neighborhood where a lot of people start work early and don't have an afternoon to spare. The 77 Belmont bus runs along Belmont and the 85 Central runs on Central. Parking is on site.
Our dentists
Our dentists are licensed in Illinois and focus on emergency care: diagnosing pain, treating infection, taking out teeth that can't be saved and repairing the ones that can. They do the work themselves, in this office. When a tooth needs something we don't provide here, we explain what the tooth needs and the next step, and we stop there.
We don't list names or credentials on this site. You'll meet the dentist treating you when you come in, and they'll tell you what they see on the X-ray in plain words.

- Tooth extraction, simple and surgical, including wisdom teeth

- Dental abscess, gum abscess and gum infection, including a swollen jaw or face
- Swollen, bleeding or receding gums and loose teeth
- Broken or chipped teeth
- Lost or broken crowns, re-cemented or remade
- Knocked-out teeth, repositioned and splinted when they can be saved
- Denture repairs, relines, partial dentures, full dentures and immediate dentures after extractions

Hours built around the early morning
We open at 7:00 AM Monday through Friday and close at 1:00 PM. Three emergency appointment slots are held every weekday at 8:00 AM, 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Call before 1:00 PM and you're seen that day. Call after 1:00 PM and we may be able to see you later that day by appointment; if not, you have the first opening the next morning.
Saturday and Sunday the office stays dark, but the phone line doesn't. Weekend and evening calls reach our answering service, which notes your details and reserves Monday's 7:00 AM opening, or the next business morning's. We don't accept walk-ins. Please call first.
